About the  Author & CEO

Sharon Bates Copeland, affectionately known as "Pigg" by her family and friends, was born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan. In 1994, she relocated to Ripley, Tennessee, where she has proudly made her home ever since. Born to Robert and Sponcia Bates of Henning, Tennessee—the hometown of renowned author and historian Alex Haley—Sharon was raised with strong values of faith, family, hard work, and perseverance.

Sharon is a Certified Life & Transformation Coach and a Registered Respiratory Therapist with more than 15 years of experience serving patients and families in healthcare. As the Founder and CEO of As1 Home Care Services, LLC, and Que ca Sorte “Let it Out” Coaching and Consulting, she is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care through faith and love.

In Four Husbands, One God, Sharon opens her heart to share the wisdom gained through seasons of heartbreak, healing, and spiritual growth. Her personal testimony reflects God's unfailing grace and her mission to help women realize that their past does not define them, and that every chapter can be redeemed for hope.

Beyond her clinical and business leadership, Sharon finds joy in prayer, meditation, and quiet evenings with her husband watching bonfires. Her life stands as a testament that God's purpose remains constant through life's most difficult seasons, transforming every setback into a powerful story of redemption.
